Lemon Killer Kustard Review
Back again with another review for the wonderful Vapetasia. This time around is the final liquid of the Killer Kustard line that got an excellent review when I reviewed it previously. Lemon Killer Kustard is the last one to look at and I only received it today. From the first vape, I knew I would need to get this review up fast.
As with the rest of the line, Lemon Killer Kustard is available in 50ml short fill bottles. Nicotine shots are optional and are available separately. The ratio is 70VG/30PG. Priced at £12.99 and available from e liquids uk
I put this straight into the Kylin after having a quick sniff before deciding what to test it on. Normally the Kylin will come out for those juices that smell good and I expect to be good because I hate having to clean it out just from testing one liquid. I took a sniff and I got very strong notes of a zesty lemon coming out of the bottle. I know from other Vapetasia liquids like the Vape Lemonade line that this strong smell doesn’t guarantee a strong flavour in the liquid. What I do know is that this smelt good, and good enough for the Kylin.
The inhale is packed full of flavour. Massive notes of sharp and zesty lemon. This is a very fresh inhale and the sharpness is rather pleasant. Unlike some lemon liquids, this is not harsh on the inhale at all. The exhale brings out the very distinctive Killer Kustard base custard. Lots of custard here and undertones of vanilla. This causes notes of sweetness to override the sharpness of the lemon really well. The custard and the lemon balance out and you get some really nice creamy notes of custard that push the lemon taste almost into a lemon curd type of taste. The aftertaste leaves the lemon on your tongue.
This is a flavour combination that works really well. It is different from the usual vanilla custard or strawberry custard type juices and holds its own. I can only think of one other lemon custard that I have tried and this beats it by a mile.
Vapetasia has produced some impressive lines. Killer Kustard has to be my favourite line of them all thanks to the incredible quality of the custard. Lemon Killer Kustard is a unique taste. If you like lemon and also custards this combination will blow you away.
